なんか妙なあえぎ声が聞こえるエリアで一人たたずむオーヴァン。
なんか勝手に苦しんだかと思うと手に見知らぬアイテムを持っていた。
はじめてPKに会ったタビーは凹む。
今回の豊口さんは
ミミルとちがってよく凹む。
実はゴードもPKされていたことを知っていた匂坂は
「タビーが旅団のメンバーだから狙われたのではないか」と
推測するが志乃に考えすぎだと言われ気にしないことに。
一方、TaNの俵屋に持ち込まれたあるアイテム。
直毘曰く「以前のThe Worldには腐るほどあったが、
今のThe Worldのアイテムには仕様になく誰もが持て余している」
とのこと。黄昏の旅団をかき回すには絶好なアイテムだと言う。
結構しょぼい事から内部破壊を狙うな、TaN。
さっそく俵屋はこの"仕様に無いアイテム"を匂坂に渡し
「キーオブザトワイライトに関係しているかもしれないが、
お前は知らないのか？
ひょっとしてお前はオーヴァンに利用されているだけじゃないか？」
とカマをかける。単純な匂坂は案の定オーヴァンに疑いを持つ。
オーヴァンは旅団のメンバーに"ウィルスコア"の探索を依頼する。
志乃が案内をするロストグラウンドにのみ存在する
攻略本にも載っていないレアアイテムらしいが、
その形状は匂坂が俵屋から受け取った"仕様に無いアイテム"そっくりであった。
探索をするハセヲ達の前に突如TaNのエンダーが
なぜか「アオー」と叫びながらPKに現れる。
志乃の援護でなんとか逃げ切るハセヲ達だが
タビーはロストグラウンドでの探索がエンダーに知れていたのは
旅団からTaNに乗り換えたという噂が流れているハセヲが
TaNに情報をリークしたのではないかと疑いをかける。
ハセヲは「自分が抜ければいいんだろ」
と半ば意地を張って出て行ってしまう。
表をうろついているハセヲに俵屋が接触をしてくる。
「近づくな」と俵屋を跳ね除けようとしたところ、
ハセヲを按じ後を追ってきたタビーと志乃に目撃される。
俵屋はそれに気付き二人に聞こえるように
「また連絡をくれ」と言って離脱していった。
うーん、なんかいやらしいな。
今更だが今回の.hackは特に人間模様がドロドロしてるなぁ。
確かにSIGNでも「疑心暗鬼になって互いに信用できない」ってことがあったけど
これはやりすぎだろ。
「ギルド」という以前は無かった要素がその原因っつーか要因か。
今までは勝手に集まった目的が同じ仲間達でパーティを組んで
冒険をして嫌なら参加をしなかったり、という感じだったが
これが出来たのはパーティの仲間達が互いに同等の立場だったのと
パーティに敵対するプレイヤーが多くても1、2人だけだったからだ。
Rootsではまずギルド内で立場がギルドマスターが上で
メンバーがわりと自由が利かないから不満も募りやすいし、
敵対するTaNもプレイヤー（つまりは人間）の集まりだから性質が悪い。
そういえば現実世界とリンクしてどこかで同時進行するのが
.hackの特徴だと思ってたけど、Rootsは今のところそういうモノ無いね。
